Can Textfree (Pinger Inc.) bill you for purchases made by SMS? ringtones, wallpapers, etc.?

So i've got this textfree for my iphone, but i'm wondering if they are able to charge my phone bill if i buy something through SMS. you know those "monthly ringtone plan" where you send a text message to a certain number and that is authorization for them to charge you $9.99 a month to get a "new hot ringtone" every week? Well, can you get charged for something like that using Textfree?



In the terms and conditions, did I unknowingly agree to have Textfree charge my phone bill for something like this?Can Textfree (Pinger Inc.) bill you for purchases made by SMS? ringtones, wallpapers, etc.?

Actually, Textfree doesn't support "short code" - phone numbers that are less than the normal 7 digits. This is because Textfree is just a communication app, not a cellular provider. Textfree does not have access to your credit card and only if you purchased minutes would you be charged to iTunes.
