the financial crisis is likely to go on for years unless we can sort it out at this early stage, which is unlikely. recessions like this have to come around every so often due to the economic cycle, but they eventually get sorted out again, although it may take a few years.



the GDP of most countries is likely to fall as jobs will be lost and there will be fewer trading opportunities, but while america and the uk etc are likely to suffer quite badly from the effects of the crisis, australia shouldnt be affected quite as badly because the majority of our investment and finance is done through national banks, not american or overseas banks.
