Computer Pop-Up Question... please answer?

Okay, so I was on Pinger Textfree online and another tab for Yahoo Answers. All of the sudden, a small pop-up came up that said, "Whoa! Google Chrome crashed. Who you like to restart?" and I pressed ALT + CNTL + Delete and I pressed "End Now" on the pop-up and both Google Chrome and the pop up went down. Anyway, I was wondering if that was a virus...Computer Pop-Up Question... please answer?
Use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware then Eusing Registry Cleaner (run safe mode networking if you're unable to download them otherwise). Run MBAM under safe mode, do a normal restart, then run EusingComputer Pop-Up Question... please answer?

not exactly a virus but could be a malware that is trying to intrude. and i think it's not CNTL but CRTL for Control. Alt+Crtl+Delete
