SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY--What should President Obama do to solve the Financial Crisis?

Everyone says it's complicated, and apparently people's only 'safe' answer is to spend multi-billions of dollars. So wanted to see if anyone on Y/A! actually knows of a workable solution, or can cite to one that makes sense.SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY--What should President Obama do to solve the Financial Crisis? At this stage,Obama has few options left to him.If he really wants to do something positive,he has no options other than to bail out sick entities.SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY--What should President Obama do to solve the Financial Crisis?
He should do nothing at all. Lasseiz-faire. It's worked before: it'll work again.SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY--What should President Obama do to solve the Financial Crisis?Get an adviser with years of experience in economics, he has no experience and will miserably fail without guidance from someone.
to say "sit on it, potsie" to any and all bailout billsSERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY--What should President Obama do to solve the Financial Crisis?Do the exact opposite of W.SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY--What should President Obama do to solve the Financial Crisis?
I agree with the first answer. Laissez Faire, get government bureaucracy out of the economy and let truly free markets do their magic! Of course he would never do that because he is a big government liberal.

Obviously Sarah Khori doesn't know what she's talking about. It's democrats that always complain about health care, the lack of certain people without homes (which lead to the housing crisis, thanks Bill Clinton....) and education. Nvm, she appears to have deleted her answer!
Mint more money, seriously.SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY--What should President Obama do to solve the Financial Crisis?
He should abolish the Federal Reserve and go back to the Gold Standard
Seriously, spending won't solve anything, in my opinion. That is like saying Wow my credit card bills are $30,000 so I'm going to double them.

He should take a page from the McCain playbook and freeze spending. Instead, he is doing the opposite.
Do what Ron Paul suggests to do. KEEP government SMALL. Stay out of "Bailing out" companies. If they fail, then it is THEIR fault. Don't preemptively attack other countries...saves money... let people decide their own lives and don't control them.

I know he has said a lot more, but I haven't read his comments recently.
Resign on jan 21
Get the friggin` government out of the bailout business, and out of the taxpayers lives !!! No stimulus spending ! Cut taxes ! Go to an 8% "flat tax" ! Dissolve the IRS ! Suspend Barney Frank , Chris Dodd , Chuck Schumer , and all others associated with keeping the books of Fannie %26amp; Freddie hidden from the public and covering for them , allowing them to continue to take the world economy down !!!!!
The Chinese character for adversity and opportunity are one in the same.As we start to examine our financial apparatus more closely.look at its sequence of operation, define the parameters which we work within and spell out clear cut inconsistencies in logic, falsity of terminology, impracticalities of dichotomy and elaborate on the complexities of the machine,we still as always come back to lessons that have been learned, though must be revisited, per human nature.(that too must be some sort of truism)...Extremes breed extremes, barack might compare this against a growth imperative that makes consumption of more and bigger, not only a danger to our planets health and well being, logistically irresponsible and tantamount to spitting in the faces of our children and their childrens children, for what ,the perpetuation of a process that has no ceiling, not because of population growth, that must be managed in time, its because the upper 5% have no limit to their need and desire. And theyre paradigm of growth.Grow or die as they say.Extremes breed extremes. The logic is clear the extremes of the wealthy will not be regulated by the wealthy nor those they employ, our servants. Then theres our physical ,mental and even spiritual well being.Remember were talking extremes, how about this for an unacceptable extreme, have you looked at your childrens cartoons lately, from child to adult consumer in a heartbeat in the name of the process.I digress.

Diminishing lines of return, limitations on power, function dictates structure and so on.These truths, maxims understandings, however one defines are not abstractions.Though they may as well be if the people who have the power to implement significant change .piece by piece, will not implement nor execute if they inhibit the processes that they have come to know and love,Processes they know are the cornerstone of not only profit generation but of their core beliefs. These people will not change.Inherrant in opportunity is understanding. There is no patent label such as lazzaffaire, that may work a magic to cure loopsided playing fields or correct inherrant weaknesses in even the best of any type of system.True free market is a fallacy,in the best of all worlds, government and corporate interest do not intertwine to the detriment of its people, nor is human nature and its corruptability along with its great creativity combined in such a manner as to perpetuate a process that makes its people a prisoner of false virtue and indebted up to their eyeballs. Now is the time for simplicity and tranparency in the language of transaction between not only all economic apparatus and entities but in all aspects of interface between government, the wealthy and those that make theyre wealth possible.Yes were talking power equations. They or some of them need us now lets get some equity for ourselves from the corporates and the power players, its a standard practice to hide liabilities.to doctor the books, greed created the bubble and your greed must of necessity be checked and balanced.Call it protectionism if you want but if you wont do business in this country theres not enough profit for the shareholders , cant pay on that golden parachute maybe?Too bad,we insist want to do business here than manufacture here.....Barrack might also say take this opportunity to be a teacher, for all good leaders should teach, though instructing Americans what is in our best interest is a difficult task for we are a very handled people, from cradel to grave handled. He might instruct us so effectively and courageously that we begin to look for virtues and meaning outside of materialistic prayer,he might help us to look at our general perceptions about the way things work, false perception and false received truths that are the language of the television set and a small percentage of men really interested in the power of the airwaves. The language of the corporates and governmental entities doing for its citizens almost all they had in the past done for themselves,Take security for instance its a virtue taken too an extreme like anything else its a vice and a profitable one at that...Hell have to be somewhat of a spiritual adviser,,dont laugh, our countries sickness is systemic and spiritual as well..He might show us that facing the truth of many of our fears like it or not is like facing a neurosis of sorts..What did jung say all neurosis is an attempt to escape legitimate suffering.Though the gift we derive from suffering is growth.Look we must be realistic about what a president may be capable of doing, example globaliazation cheap abundant labor worldwide for the wealthy, though for us,what good is a 400.00 big screen tv if you lost your 25 dollar an hour job,he might address this or how about a manufacturing based economy that has been changed to a service one (this seems unwise on many levels) what is the ratio of decent jobs created to that of poor ones let alone the sheer number of jobs period, skilled men disempowered by men with wealth and men whos families will never worry about health insurance. We have three times as many lawyers in this country as our nearest competitor for that dubius distinction and our infant mortality rate is the same as malaysia, other countries of our wealth and modernity have a national health system,a good man such as barrack may attempt tp help with this but he could never go heads up against it,how could he,he would need our help and when he needs it most well be afraid. It is not a laziness or ignorance at the bottom that is responsible for the misery and hopelessness at the bottom, though they play their part ,its the greed and sense of nobility at the top.Is it 20% of the population that owns 80% of the money..Lets hope that when the student is ready the teacher really shall come. And if not us then maybe our children will learn the language of calling a thing what it truely is and possibly alter the meaning of what consumption and wealth mean,in terms of our values, while yet achieving a security for themselves not despite this but because of it.
