Will the "financial crisis" cause a change in campaign promises?

Necessary adjustments to campaign promises could be seen as flip-flops. Who stands to lose the most with this new development? Will the "financial crisis" cause a change in campaign promises?
Obama stands to lose the most because he's made the most promises. The only promise he can keep know is to ban semi-automatic weapons.
Interestingly that were are on the brink of another Great Depression, but both candidates feel find without making any sufficient changes.

It is not a "flop", but myopic. Will the "financial crisis" cause a change in campaign promises?
MCCAIN -LOOK HE IS IN A PICKLE WITH HIS OWN REPUBLICAN PARTY.

Oh I know all the Republicans who voted Bush in twice are viciously turning on Bush now. Especially McCain and his odd ball Republican supporters .
I would rather have a president who can course correct for the best option than one who erroneously sends himself and the country down the tubes because he was stubborn and continued down the wrong road. Will the "financial crisis" cause a change in campaign promises?
YES OBAMA SAID IT WOULD CHANGE HIS PLANS BUT MCCAIN NEVER DID.

Two focus groups, one by GOP pollster Frank Luntz and another by Democratic pollster Stan Greenberg, both declared Obama the winner. Independents in the MediaCurves focus group "gave the debate to Obama 61-39. They also think he won every individual segment. Republicans gave the debate to McCain 90-10, Democrats to Obama 93-7."

And even Time's Mark Halperin weighs in with his grades: Obama A-, McCain B-.
