Bailout is bad news, it won't stop here. Just saw on the news how states are asking for bailout money cause of poor spending, this is what happens when you have liberals control congress. They make all these programs to help people and ultimately force the taxpayer and the economy to crap.



Why did you think Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac didn't get taken down earlier in 2005? It was because Liberals used as their defense "do you not want people to own a house" well knowing they couldn't afford it.



I think if Obama is elected and california is a prime example of why they are in Debt with there medicade plan (making tax payers pay for state wide health insurance) and Obama wants to have a national one.



Honestly what will happen depends on the next president, we will either keep going down hill or litterly his rock bottom, fact is as long as I have a gun and plenty of bullets. I will do fine.

I think we will deteriorate slowly into something unrecognisable as the former America. It is not just the economy, it is world events as a whole that are concerning. It is times like this political systems change as well as leaders.
We are close to disaster. If Obammy wins and adds to our tax burden (he has a bill on congress now for $845Billion for world poverty, paid for by us) with the assistance from the two dunces, Reid and Pelosi, we will go belly up. We cannot handle any more taxes or spending.Do you think america will bounce back out of this financial crisis or will we explode from the inside out?
Your failing international policies, reliance on foreign oil, economic crisis based on false representation of assets and billions of debt from your failed invasions of other countries has certainly put a strain on your country.



I predict a full on riot leading to civil war in the states within the next 2 years

Its time for the average american to stop following their politicians blindly and actual educate themselves. Republican, Democrats, they should both just translate to **** the general population in the asshole (without spitting first) and day after day destroy your country for the pockets of the multi billion dollar business's that have controlled the inherited wealth since your country gained its independence through acts of treason against the British Empire.



not to mention all you people saying Obama is bad because of his spending, you need to actually educate yourself before making such comments and decisions. The republicans will undoubtfully cause further debt in the long run. Social spending and higher taxs seems like a bad idea if its portrayed that way, but through social spending and tax's you will build the solid foundation you need to rebuild. Quick fixs and false inflation of assets is what got you into this mess (and you've managed to pull the global economy in with you)



Its absolutely disturbing to sit by as a member of a global community and see the total lack of regard for humanity from the global perspective that comes out of the united states of invadica.
I don't think the country will survive it.I no longer think greed alone is the culprit. I believe we are being steered in this disaster from unknown sources for some unknown reasons.The country will be paying over 50% of it's total income just on the interest of the national debt, and this is a figure given before the 800 billion dollar bail out.This means all funding for health care, education, infrastructure, and non essential programs will be cut drastically The bailout bill was actually crafted in March, 07 by Patrick Kennedy, D-RI This means it was planned over 18 months ago.They knew then, what they were going to do.It also includes big tax cuts for the oil companies.What is going on here.I believe government is no longer to be trusted.
If government keeps doing what it is doing, we are going to be in serious trouble. The bailout will lead to even worse problems in the coming months and years. It is time to throw the tea back into the harbor and remove the democrats and republicans from government.
If obama elected, we'll probably bounce back. If bush the 2nd is elected, well, good bye USA.
