Is Barack Obama less concerned about the financial crisis than John McCain?

Barack Obama looks at it as a way to make McCain look bad, but I don't recall him saying anything about his plans of doing something about it. Thoughts? Is Barack Obama less concerned about the financial crisis than John McCain?
Obamas handlers are some smart cookies.. They have instructed him to lie back and blame Bush...

This is the type of thing that disturbs me about the possibility of an Obama presidency.. At some point he will have to make decisions.. Not just Blame Bush and Vote *present*

edit... The Democratic party are not idiots.... A large segment of the American public buy their rhetoric without demanding any solutions.
It is obvious to me, of course he is less woried about it. That is why we need a president like Sen. McCain who cares about the well being of the United States. Is Barack Obama less concerned about the financial crisis than John McCain?
Barack Obama is concerned with Barack Obama.

Wasn't it less than a week ago that McCain said the economy was sound? its been tanking for awhile now...where has he been?Is Barack Obama less concerned about the financial crisis than John McCain?
he said he would end the war... which was bigger than any spending cut McCain mentioned...

and reform taxes...

he also said he was in favor of the bill on the table... like McCain...

why do Republicans turn off their ears when Obama speaks?
Ask your liberal friends in Metallica, who speak about people like McCain in your nickname. Obama is at least as concerned and not using it as a political ploy.

Nice try, though.
I believe so, yes.
Liberals were warning about it 5 years ago when they were labeled as "Doom and Gloom libs", while people like McCain claimed their was no problem up until 3 weeks ago.
Obama is in a tight situation on this one. The Executive branch has been privy to this problem for almost a month and have time to examine what they want to do and how they can use it to hold the Presidents office for another 4 year. Then they throw it out and tell the Congress they have 2 days to decide.
McCain is using the economic crisis to flee any live debates that will probably catch him of guard.

Even if the democrats and republicans join together to tackle the issue the crisis won't go away. The economic slump will continue regardless for another 2-4 years.

It's not really that Obama is unconcerned, it's more that he is entirely clueless on this particular issue. Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.
John McCain picked someone he doesn't think is fit to do a press conference to lead in his absence. Is there anything John McCain is more concerned with than his own campaign?
Neither of them is on any financial committee. So all they can do is wait to be presented with the law once its passed the house of representatives. For all the carrying on, neither of them is needed at this point in the natural progression of a law.

First it has to come out of committee, then it goes to the House for a vote, then it goes to the Senate and finally the President.

For McCain to pretend otherwise indicates he hopes none of this is remembered from fourth grade civics classes.

Sitting in on discussions is fine for both candidates, as they will have to deal with this when one of them takes office, but it will be a done deal by then, and in terms of being necessary, not at this point, not until the legislation comes to a vote on the Senate floor, and thats at least a day or two away at best.

No he left his number and said call him,
It's amazing how these libs fall for a golden tongue and believe it, with nothing to back that tongue up.

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

If it wouldn't effect me personally and be an embarrassment to this country, an Obama win would be great, just to listen to these libs whine and cry within months after he gets elected. He's another Pelosi %26amp; Reid, a commie from the git-go.

McPalin 08
Like so many things about Obama, he avoids things he knows little about. Instead he will use the same subject matter as a hammer against his opponent. This trait is both dishonest and distracting !

This is something that slick Willie Clinton was good at too ! He was not a very courageous man so he let our enemies skate when we should have retaliated. Perhaps, had he did a proper job then, we wouldn't be playing catch up now.

Let's not allow history to repeat itself. "You can fool some of the people all of the time, or you can fool all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time !"
I'd say less. Last night when asked what part of his plans he'd have to forgo because of the cost of the bailout he didn't list a one.

Wednesday he didn't even think he needed to be in DC.

But then on Thursday he went to DC. Why? Probably because his advisers told him it would be political suicide not to be there.
What financial crisis? The world was going to end last friday if no relief was passed. Friday came and went. Now we should wait for John McCain to show up, don't worry, we have plenty of time for John The world was going to end monday if no bill was passed. Monday came and went. WWednesday, Wendsday the world will end... NO, friday. Oh wait, the weekend would be good.

TERROR and pandering to your bigotry is all they have to work with. John MCCain will continue the terror of the Bush administration. Make no doubt about it. Get ready for Martial Law.

.

Mcclain pretending he is needed but noone really asked for his help.
