Yes and it is true... deregulation resulted in the creation of what is called naked credit defautl swaps... that was the true core of the crisis.Did you know paul volcker seems to feel deregulation caused the financial crisis?
It all started with 4 guys named Fannie, Freddie, Barney and Chris with regulations in place %26lt; THAT WERE IGNORED. The rest up to today is the effects from those 4.

1. Everyone deserves to buy a house. Especially $15 hr workers getting loans for $300,000 junk hybrid notes. When the regular terms kick in, walk away and let the banks pick up the homes.

2. 10's of thousands of forclosures later, banks won't loan, PMI companies won't issue policies, etc.

3. Financial credit investments shut down, stock market losses 20% of it's value....stock owners sell, companies start laying off.....

.........and the economy heads for the toilet.

These are facts as reported by all mainstream medias. Thumb down this, only directs you to my profile.

SCOTT.....I support any candidate who refuses to show up with a can of gas to try to put out the fire then blame the other person because the flames got bigger.Did you know paul volcker seems to feel deregulation caused the financial crisis?
How surprising a Democrat trying to spin things so they can blame it on a Republican. Insert sarcastic emoticon here.
Sounds about right.
