Does the present financial crisis prove capitalism is dead?

It proves it only works for the already rich %26amp; some opportunists for a limited period of time before it has to be regulated very strongly again. this has happened a few times in my lifetime - getting a little tired of watching the same short-sighted and greedy behaviour over %26amp; over again!Does the present financial crisis prove capitalism is dead?
NoDoes the present financial crisis prove capitalism is dead?
No - obviously not - what do you propose to replace it with ?Does the present financial crisis prove capitalism is dead?
No. It does prove that you can't have an economy based upon debt, in which nothing of value is produced.

The US federal reserve (i.e. government) is partly to blame for these problems. Personally I have misgivings about fractional reserve banking in general. It's a complex issue though...
Of course not. Capitalism is the most efficient economic system out there, but no one ever said it's problem or pain free.
