Are we going into depression? What happened?



I haven't been in touch these past few years with the news and I don't know much, or anything about it?What is the global financial crisis?The current 'financial crisis' is due to fractional reserve banking combined with a central banking system.



This is the cause of all recessions, within reason since fractional reserve banking was introduced way back when.



The actual crisis now can be directly attributed to the Fed's artificially low interest rates around 2001, which prevented recession then. We are having the recession we should have been having the, but which has inflated dramatically since.



Whatever anyone tells you, this is not a problem of the free market.
