TextFree app to AT&T wireless issues?

So there's an application for itouch/iphone called TextFree. My girlfriend uses to text me from her itouch because its free, all she needs is wifi. This app worked fine until i switched service providers on saturday. I switched from Centennial to AT%26amp;T because they merged and i got a better deal. Normally with Centennial she could use her TextFree and we could communicate with no problems. Now that i switched to AT%26amp;T though, i can no longer receive her texts, and i can't send any to her.

I know that my texting works, because i can text anyone else that i want to, but for some reason i can no longer text her. Normally to text her i have to reply to her texts because the application uses some weird short code for a number and i cant just type it in to send it. Now i cant even reply to her texts because i can't even receive them. Whenever i try to send her a text, i receive an automated response from AT%26amp;T saying "Error Invalid Number, Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code."

I have no clue why this issue started, i figured that it would work even better with AT%26amp;T since they're a bigger name and all that, but apparently i was wrong. One odd thing about this textfree app though, every time i receive a text from her the short-code for her number changes, which is why i can only reply to her messages.

Note: I contacted Pinger (the company that runs TextFree) to try to find a solution, and i recieved this back... "Most likely this is caused by a SPAM blocker on your account that prevents you from receiving email based SMS messages. You will need to contact your carrier for the removal of this SPAM blocking tool." I was not aware that AT%26amp;T had a spam blocking tool, but for some reason i don't think this is the issue.

So if anyone has had this issue or has insight on how to fix it, please let me know!TextFree app to AT%26amp;T wireless issues?
Hi Levi, try contacting us (Pinger) again and send your phone # and we can make sure that our system correctly recognizes your phone # as AT%26amp;T. If you have just ported it, there might be a bug on our side, and we might be sending the messages to Centennial still.

Also, it's not a shortcode that you see when you receive a message, but an ID assigned by your carrier that uniquely identifies the message and the sender (to them). You should be able to send messages to your girlfriend by using her username @textfree.us (although on some phones you are unable to address SMS to email addresses).TextFree app to AT%26amp;T wireless issues?
